Learning Curve Dinosaur Train Toy Review

On August 1, 2010 thousands of kids wishes came true when the Learning Curve Dinosaur Train Toys hit the stores. Unlike a lot of cartoons, Dinosaur Train toys and action figures weren't easy to find. I guess they wanted to make sure the show was successful before investing in a toy collection. Luckily for them and Learning Curve it has been just that.

Dinosaur Train features a curious young T.Rex named Buddy who, together with his adopted Pteranodon family, takes the magical train to meet, explore, and have adventures with all kinds of dinosaurs.

Dinosaur Train did the right thing by waiting, they also did the right thing by teaming up with Learning Curve. LC is a toy manufacturer which prides itself on creating developmental toys for young boys and girls.

The Learning Curve Dinosaur Train Toys are different than most other action figures. They utilize a technology known as SmartTalk. SmartTalk gives each character the ability to recognize and interact with other characters from their toy collection. I love this idea because it can bring kids together during play time. It also makes the toy last longer in the childs attention span. Think about it, every year a kid gets a new toy for Christmas. How many kids play with the same toy from last years Christmas after they get a new toy? Thanks to Learning Curve each new character isn't necessarily a replacement toy, but it's more of an addition! With dozens of characters, train sets, train cars you can't go wrong.

Another great interactive feature are the sensors. When the dinosaurs mouth is triggered the toy makes a chomping sound. If the feet sense a walking motion then the toy makes a stomping sound! Some characters also have sounds for their tails, wings, and more.

If you are looking to buy a gift for a young boy or girl then consider the Learning Curve Dinosaur Train Toys. LC recommends the child be between the ages of 3 and 6 years. All of the toys are gender neutral but their are both male and female toys!
