Nitro Powered RC Trucks Are a Great Racing Challenge

It is amazing for such small trucks -- for example the nitro powered RC trucks only measuring one-tenth to one-eighth scale, driven only by a two-stoke nitro engine -- that they reach speeds up to 50 mph. That is very fast!

Other models that come ready to go out of the package and are fully painted is the Traxxas Revo. It is also one of the most popular models. Others worthy of a look-see are the Trazzas Nitro Rustler, Tamiya TNX, Trazza Nitro Jato, and the HPI Savage 25.

Be sure to check out the 4x4 off-road nitro gas powered RC trucks as they are big at approximately twenty inches long by seventeen inches wide, have four-wheel drive and 2.5hp engines. Awesome! If you are looking for a truck that jumps well, check out the well-liked stadium trucks.

Here is a hint before you buy. Visit one of the local RC clubs when they are racing their trucks and talk with the members. Nothing like going right to the source before buying.

Even though they are electrically driven, the minis are worth mentioning. They are smaller, measuring approximately 1/18 and 1/28 scale. They don't run as fast, but good for beginners just starting up and are also very popular in the marketplace.

How about setting up a race course in your back yard if you have the space? Before long, your friends and neighbors will be coming over with their nitro powered RC trucks for some fun. The growl of the engines, the smell of gas and the shifting of gears will attract most people. So be prepared to have some visitors coming to check out the action. Are you getting excited?

Nitro trucks are really easy to buy as well. Online is a really great place to start as there are many websites showing off their models. You can even experience the thrill by watching videos. So make sure you have time, as there are a lot of different models to check out.. One nice thing about shopping online is you can have your truck shipped directly to your house. Another alternative is a hobby shop. The good thing about hobby shops is they have expert people to assist in picking the right nitro powered RC truck for you and to respond to your inquiries. You can also try out the RC truck prior to purchasing it. You might even find the hobby shops have sales or discounts.

However, the nitro truck is the best if you are searching for a truck that goes fast. They are noisy however, so you might want to check local ordinances to make sure you don't violate them. If you have several tucks running, the louder the noise will be, so consider wearing hearing protection. Have a lot of fun with your nitro powered RC trucks and burn up the race track.
