Action Figures vs Toy Truck

Two of the most popular games for boys are action figures and toy trucks or cars. If they see one of these elements under a Christmas tree, probably out of my mind with excitement and start playing with them immediately. It 's true, action figures and toy trucks are a hit with young boys. But what is more popular than others?

An action figure is a plastic figure of a character, oftena, comedy, video game or television programs. These action figures are usually marketed to kids. One category of action figures that are always in high demand is the superhero action figures. Some super heroes like Superman, Batman and Spiderman are perennial, as the popularity of other go to the next big movie remake dormant. With the latest installment of the mega-popular film Spiderman,Spiderman and his mix of couples on the powers of evil seem to figure the market for superhero action.

With a popular animated series and movie "Batman" is also a popular action figure. The oldest super heroes of the federal government, Superman, has slowly but surely is making a comeback. With a popular TV series about Superman and a major motion picture on the road, it's safe to say that Superman action figure is never far from the topthe list.

Men seem to have a natural attraction for the vehicles. In this sense, young children love to play with toy cars. Surely you can not drive a real car, but it can certainly claim they can, if they had to drive a truckload of toys they could. But regardless of the level of popularity, one or both of these terms, the toys are highly recommended for children. Now you know what they get for their next birthday or Christmas.

How to Choose an Educational Toy For Your Child

When a child hears the word toy they most likely think of fun. What better way is there to entertain a child than with toys? If you don't want them becoming obsessed with video games or ruining their vision with all that T.V., toys are the way to go. Even better, now there are educational toys that will leave children occupied and smarter without them becoming couch potatoes.

Imagine all the toys that exist now. There are stuffed toys, toy cars, action figures, dolls and who knows which of these toys children really care for? You could ask them, but at such a young age, most of the time they don't even know what will last them long before they get bored of it.

So the best thing to do is consider, first off, the gender, of course, then age, and finally see if they have any active interest in anything such as cars, animals, rhythm or just being very active in general. After you think you have got the idea, go ahead and see if it works. With a little trial and error, you will get the job done and your child will be happy.

Let's talk about options for educational toys for a child. There are the basic alphabet blocks, interactive story books, play keyboards and so much more. It's really a good idea to expose your child to as many of these things as you can. Your son may say he want to be a fireman when he grows up, but if he strays towards musical toys, you may have a future musician on your hands. But you never know, so don't be afraid to explore different options other than what they're used to or show interest for.

Many advantages lay with choosing educational toys over educational T.V. or computer games. T.V. is the easy way for occupying your child but how can they really learn without interacting or moving at all? With video games at least they move somewhat and interact, but do you really want them spending all that time in front of the screen? Not only will they develop an early obsession with video games, but they might negatively affect their vision when they really don't have to.

Yes, so many options and things to consider may bother you for a little bit of time. In the end, I'm sure you will be happy with the choice of toys you made. Focus on the true interest of the child and you will not fail. After considering these things I'm sure the choice is clear.

Interactive Toys Equal Family Fun

It was so hard to pick just one toy from all of the choices, but now that I am a wife and a mother, I find toy shopping even more difficult. I try to purchase toys for my son that are fun yet educational, and while there were plenty of toy choices when I was a kid, now it seems as though there are more gizmos and gadgets on the shelves than there ever were before. I usually do my research before entering a toy shop, knowing about all the warranties and warnings associated with what I want to acquire so that I can buy something of quality.

However, sometimes while shopping, my eye catches the gleam of a toy, and I remember just how much I still enjoy playing with kid's toys. In fact, some of the best times my husband and I have had are when we play with our son's toys while he is napping. My husband enjoys comics and cartoons, thus the tiny replicas of his favourite comics provide him with hours of utter delight. He twists their little bodies in an effort to recreate epic battles with Spiderman and Captain America, and he even forces the Captain Kirk action figure to duel the Obi Wan Kenobi action figure in order to determine whether Star Trek is better than Star Wars. The figures are so life-like that they can be morphed into any position, which makes for absolutely side-spitting and almost realistic action sequences.

I think the best kid's toys, however, are interactive toys because they provide more stimulation for children, but also they are funnier for me to watch my husband play with. These kinds of toys make sounds, light up, spin, flip, or move in some capacity. One of my favourites is the Jumbo Music Block made by Neurosmith. This large block toy has bright colours, buttons, zippers, and snaps, and it plays several peppy, little tunes designed teach young children shapes and colours. I laugh every time my husband tries to imitate the toy. He sings along with the music by squealing at the top of his lungs, a sight that would drive even the most stoic person into hysterics. Another toy, Dance Party, a dancing mat that you plug into your T.V., provides endless entertainment for my husband and me as we jerk our bodies in what seems like unnatural ways in order to complete the dance task we are given. While the toy is designed to improve coordination, it also serves to remind me that I have muscles on my body that I did not know existed until I attempted to use this toy.

All in all, toys are more than simple play items, they are a metaphor for a type of fun and excitement that brings out a grown-up's inner child for an hour a day, enabling him or her to re-examine life through young eyes and renew a positive outlook on the world.
