The origins
Beowulf is an epic Anglo-Saxon thought was composed in the Middle Ages.
The poem tells the tale of Beowulf and his battle against three different opponents. A true epic poem Beowulf has survived the centuries and is the only surviving example of Anglo-Saxon heroic poetry.
